The museum of archeological findings in Palaiopoli is reminiscent of the times when the centre of the island was the capital town of the same name less than 20 km from the today’s capital. The museum offers a collections of findings from the town surroundings, represented by statues, fragments of buildings, documents and other objects from the times when the town was flourishing. It is open daily and accessible for a small entrance fee (with discount for children and students).
