Anavissos

Near the Greek capital on the south-west coast of Attika peninsula, there is a resort called Anavissos, popular especially among the inhabitants of Athens who come there to spend their free time.

Within the mountainous surroundings with a plateau traversing the hilly landscape, a long beach with a few small bays stand out. Given the local weather conditions, the waves are perfect for surfers and other lovers of aquatic sports requiring higher waves. Yet the beach is also ideal for swimming and relaxation on the coast in general. You can get a bit to eat in the local tavernas and restaurants, with delicious seafood dishes.
