Ladadika
Save
The little Thessaloniki quarter of Ladadika is located between the Tsimiski street and the port, and it represents the remnants of an old Jewish quarter that once took up a much larger territory (until the World War I, there was a large Jewish population in Thessaloniki). Today there are just a few streets, yet with an extraordinary atmosphere - in the small, no more than two-storey houses with a facade of various colours, stuck one to another, there are various boutiques, antiquarian bookshops, and especially tavernas, cafés or bars from which life moves also to the streets at night where people sit and drink till the early morning hours.
