The Art Gallery can be found in the edifice of old town baths in the centre of the Chios capital. The building is a historical site on its own since it was designed by the remarkable Grek architect of Despotopoulos. The exhibition space can boast works of various authors not only from the collections of the local citizens (some of them are their own works). The gallery is open daily except the weekend and is closed for several hours in the afternoon in the greatest heat to reopen in the balmy evening. The entrance is for free.
