The two kilometres long beach of Agios Georgios is covered with coarse sand of a goldish hue, and the sea is shallow, which is appreciated especially by the parents of small children and less skilled swimmers. The beach has umbrellas with deckchairs and refreshment facilities, and it can also be enjoyed by the lovers of water sports; including driving a banana, a water scooter or paddle boat, and the brave ones can see how the beach and its surroundings look from the bird’s eye view, and try parachute jumping.
