Agios Gordis, one of the most poular beach on the island, surrounded by sandstone rocks and rich green vegetation, can be found 19 km south.west of the capital of Kerkyra. You will find there full beach service, including the obligatory umbrellas with deckchairs, but also showers and refreshment. For variety’s sake, you can try some of the local water sports, practiced mainly by American and Candian students, forming a great part of the clientele of the nearby hotel resort.
