The Ethnographic Museum of Corfu founded at the end of the 1980s is situated in the mountain village of Sinarades on the west coast of the island about 12 km from the capital of Kerkyra. The stylish collection is gathered in the original historical building which is a typical example of the traditional Corfu architecture. The purpose of the collection is to show the visitors how life of the locals in the 19th century looked like. You can see there mainly the original furniture and equipment, articles of daily use, clothes, and more.
