The Numismatics Museum on Corfu is the only one in Greece specializing in money and their history. It was founded with the contribution of the Ionian Bank of Corfu founded more than 150 years ago, being the oldest financial institution on the island. In the 1980s, it decided to create this unique museum and show the visitors a varied collection of notes, coins and other objects from all over the world related to the creation and use of money. In the museum you can also see an interesting demonstration of the money production process.
