Pontikonissi -  The Mouse Island

The little green island, also called the Mouse Island, is one of the most photographed places on Corfu. Its image decorates almost every postcard and it is represented on many souvenirs sold in the place. The small island that can be found near Vlacherna is not really exceptional excpt for its impressive location; it has only a little church from the 11th century surrounded by tall green vegetation. The church dedicated to Pantokratos can be accessed on a small boat from the nearby Kanoni peninsula.
