The town of Lendas can be found near the Libyan Sea about 35 km south-east of the well-known town of Gortys. First the way leads through a plain landscape, then it rises on mountain hairpin bends to the peaks of Asteruses and through the mountain villages of Plora, Apesokári and Miamu (with a neolithic cave discovered towards the end of the 19th century in a densely built-up place). After driving through many bends, you will be rewarded by a magnificent view on the romantic coast of Lendas (which is where the tarmac road finishes).
