The beautiful snow-white Church of Panagia Gremiotissa rises amidst a magnificent scenery of the island capital. This religious jewel is looking down from the heights of hostile hills to the sky-blue coast bay of the Aegean Sea. The view is truly romantic and completely unforgettable. It is no wonder than that the church became a symbol of the whole island. 

The building itself is an example of Greek sacral architecture - precise and blunt shapes, but still pleasat to the eye, snow-white colour with tiny light blue accessories, and a small bell tower above the front, heading above the sea surface.
