Like most significant museums of the island, the Naval Museum is also located in the capital of Vathy. Besides the demonstrations of the local naval tradition, on the exhibition, you can see what the life of the islanders looked like many years ago. It includes articles of daily use like clothing, pieces of furniture, different tools, utensils used for agricultural works, decorative objects, embroidery or musical instruments; but also photographs of the everyday life and those commemorating the devastating earthquake from the 1950s.
