The beautiful and romantic tiny beach of Achata can be found about 6 km north of Pigadia and offers a truly splendid environment.

The beach surface is formed by small pebbles. You will find there basic equipment including umbrellas and deckchairs, and there is also a taverna with refreshment. There are high rocks all around the beach and it is a really reat place to stay. The beautiful panorama, crystal clear water and peace... if you are on Karpathos, you should definitely go to this beach. It is worth it.

Given its location and the surroundings hills, the beach is partially protected from the wind.
