Agios Minas is a large bay in the east coast of Karpathos, located approximately at the bottom end of the top third of the island. It is a vast area of pebbles surrounded by high hills with green vegetation. The beach is nice but that is more or less all. Towards the interior, you will find several olive groves, and peace. 

The beach is is in fact a delta of a stream flowing from the mountains in the rainy period and emptying into the sea.
