Kali Limni is the highest peak of the limestone mountains stretching from the north to the south of the island. It is 1 215 m high, being the highest peak not only of the island but also the whole Dodecanese. From the resort of Lefkos, the climb will take you about 4 hours; or you can also drive to the Latos plateau to the taverna of Kali Kardia from where you the ascent will take you about one and half hour. When the visibility is good, besides the nearby island of Kassos, from the peak you can see the island of Rhodes and Crete as well.
