The small resort of Agia Pelagia is located in the north east of Kythira Island. In the resort there is a longer sandy beach with some pebbles, and a few smaller, also pebble and sand beaches withi walking distance. The local beaches stand out mainly for their crystal clear water, tempting both for bathing and snorkelling. In the centre of the resort, you can choose from various tavernas, cafés and little shops. The capital of Kythira-Chora can be found about 20 km far.
