It could be said that the Egremni Beach is two kilometres of paradise. The splendid white sand, amazing lean water, waves, and all that surounded by high hills and cliffs. The beach can only be accesses by boat or walking down on about 250-350 stairs (I have counted them 296 myself but people say there are between 250 a 350 of them). During the peak season, the beach can be quite crowded. Near the beach you will find refreshement facilities and rent an umbrella and a deckchair; yet there is no more equipment like showers with drinking water. You can also walk to the top of the hill above the beach on a tarmac road.

Once you are in this place, take a look also on the beach of Porto Katsiki, or go to the southernmost tip of the island to see the beautiful cliffs near the Akratas lighthouse.
