The small museum of foklore on Lefkada has been in service for more than 70 years, offering to its visitors an insight into the life of the islanders. Its exhibition includes mainly articles of daily use, like hand-made tools, clothes, fabrics, embroideries, toys, decorative objects, photograhs, home utensils, models of windmills and ships, maps, and more. Some parts of the museum will take you to a traditional island dwelling where you can admire period furniture and all the original equipment. The musem is located in the island capital.
