Doukato Cape and Akratas Lighthouse

If you set off from Porto Katsiki to the south, after 4 km, you will arrive at the southernmost point of Lefkada - the Akratas lighthouse. The road passes on high cliffs and there is a splendid view on the south-west coast of the island. Legend has it that the lovesick poet Sappho ended her life throwing herself from the cliff in this very place.
