The Melissa Gorge on Lefkada is a beautiful, about 2 km long canyon, situated about 10 km from the island capital. It is not really difficult to walk through - it takes about one hour. To find the entrance to the canyon is really simple: when driving from Lefkada in the direction of Sfakioton, after about 7 km, you will see a signpost. There you turn to the right and continue 3 more kilometres on a tarmac road. Turn to the right again, and after driving 2 more kilometres on a dusty path, you will arrive at the entrance.
