Sivota Resort

The small port with a fishing tradition called Sivota can be found in an adorable bay on the south-east coast of Lefkada about 15 km from the capital. Its blue waters are surrounded by beautifully green hills covered with trees and bushes, giving the impression of a little mossy glade when seen from the distance. On the slope, a few small houses have been built, while in the port you will find anchoring boats and yachts, and suntanned holiday makers enjoying warm weather. In other words, Sivota is a kind of a small holiday idyll.

What to do in Sivota?

Despite being quite lively during the summer, Sivota belongs to the rather calm resorts on Lefkada. On the small locla beach, you can rent an umbrella or a deckchair, and get something to refresh yourself nearby (there are a few shops with souvenirs and basic foodstuffs). If you get weary of the beach, set off to explore the bay or even further, where you will find many secluded places and bays with sandy beaches. The few very nice tavernas in Sivota stand out for their masterly preparation of fish and seafood dishes. The fish is always fresh, caught by local fishermen. You should definitely not miss this culinary experience.
