One of the well-known ancient historical sites of Lemnos Island is a temple from the 8th century BC located in the north. Today only the remains of the sacred jewel can be admired, but even those exude the atmosphere of ancient times. You can see there parts of the perimeter walls and above all 12 columns placed in a row. The whole place is hidden in a shallow basin covered with little bushes, with the stones of the old sanctuary here and there. Yet you can find many more historical remains in this place. You only need to set off for an adventure trip and discover all the archaeological beauties of the north coast of Lemnos Island.
