The edifice of the Foklore Museum interesting from architectural point of view can be found near the Church of Panagia Paraportiani in the Mykonos capital. In the more than 50-year old museum, you can admire period furniture, tools and implements of the farmers and sailors, artistic objects, musical instrments, fanrics, enbroidery, photographs, weapons, ceramics, articles of daily use like oil lamps, keys, locks, dishes), all that mainly from the 19th century. You can even see there whole rooms equipped in the same way like two hundred years ago.

During the high season, the museum is open in the evening and the entrance is for free.
