Parga - Krioneri Resort

The charming port and the small town of Parga stretches on the north-west coast of the Greek mainland, washed by the Ionian Sea. In the proximity, you can find the popular island of Corfu. The municipality can boast typical Greek architecture, similar to the one you can find in seaside resorts. It consists of colourful houses built in a cascade on a slope above a blue bay surrounded by green olive trees and rocks. Moreover, the rich history left there many traces, today admired by thousands of visitors; including a Venetian castle from the 11th century.

Parga beach

The main beach of the resort is called Krioneri and it is located really close to the centre. It is formed by a stretch of goldish sand and pebbles, and offers a variety of services for the full comfort of the holidaymakers. You will find there beautiful coloured umbrellas and deckchairs. When you lie on the beach and let the sun´s rays warm up your body, look around and savour the unique atmosphere - the open sea of all shades of blue ending beyond the horizon, weird rock formations rising above the sea surface, and calming hills covered with green vegetation behind your back. It is for those of its beauties that Krioneri is one of the most popular beaches during the summer, and so, it can become quite full of eager holidaymakers.

In the Parga region, you can also try another beach of a similar name, Piso Krioneri. it is smaller but more peaceful and with less people. Despite that, it offers everything you need to idle on the beach and sunbathe. All the beaches in Parga have showers for free.
