In the museum located neat the village of Magazia, almost halfway between Lakka and the port of Gaios towards the interior, you can acquaint yourself with the traditional production of olive oil the locals are rightly proud of. The visit of the museum includes a demonstration of pressing the olives using a stone machine, and you can buy the final gold and yellow product as a souvenir or an ingredient to your kitchen.
