Monemvasia is a medieval fortification in the east of the Peloponnese Peninsula. The first mention of this place are dated back to the 6th century, yet we can´t see it in ts original appearance as it has been transformed by diferent nations many times. The town with the fortress has been constructed on a rock, reaching the height of up to 300 m a.s.l. You can also see there religious buildings and the original narrow streets and houses.
