Hydra Island 

Hydra is another of the small picturesque of the Saronic Island. The island has a rocks surface and it is known for its cleanliness and cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is separated from the Peloponnese only by a narrow stretch of sea. There is ony one town named simple Hydra Port, built on the hill above the bay and the port. And a few little villages, scattered all over the island. On the contrary, there are lots of small churches and six orthodox monasteries, mostly lying picturesquely on the hill peaks.
