Tolo Resort

On the Peoloponnese peninsula, in the region breathing with ancient times, full of witnesses of old civilizations, you will find the very popular resort of Tolo. Given its location near historical sites, it is a perfect point of departure to make trips and you can bathe there in the charming environment of a sea gulf. And so, it is no wonder the resort is among the most visited ones in the whole region.

Tolo beaches

The main attraction of the Tolo resort are obviously the beaches. Those are really nice, most often covered with sand or pebbles. As far as safety is concerned, it takes a while before you walk into the depth on the seabed, and so, even children or unexperienced swimers don´t really need to be afraid. What is more, The water there is beautifully crystal clear and very clean. On most beaches, especially those in front of the hotel complexes, you will find refreshment in bars and restaurants. On the main beach, you can indulge both in adrenaline or relaxing water sports, whether you decide to do water skiing, surfing, riding a paddle boat  or diving. To practice more demanding sports like diving or surfing, you can call an instructor from some of the local sports centres and clubs.

What to do in Tolo?

Accommodation facilities in Tolo include a variety of options - you can stay in a hotel, a private suite, or a room. Almost at any time of the day, you can go to eat something tasty in some of the tavernas and restaurants, whether you decide to try some of the Greek delicacies, like fish for example, or a refreshing drink. In the local shops, you can buy typical tourist articles, including souvenirs, foodstuffs, clothes and more.

In Tolo surroundings, there are plenty of places where you can go on a nice trip. The famous Mycenae with its ancient historical sites, Epidaurus with an ancient theatre, Sparta, the  cradle of illustrious commanders, or Olympia where the first olympic games took place in antiquity, are located quite close. The best option is to rent a car in some of the rental services, or use public transport or go on an organized trip.
