Vesnička Lardos

When travelling to Lardos, note that there is a village of Lardos and the resort of Lardos. The Lardos village is an amazing place with a great atmosphere, many tavernas and genuine local atmosphere. Whether you are staying in the Lardos resort or are just pasing by, you should definitely visit this place. It has an original housing development, dozens of tavernas, and the whole place exudes peace and is completely relaxed. Before you sit to drink a cup of coffee on the square, go for a little walk - the narow streets, booming ornamental flowers, stone-paved streets, white and colourful houses and the ubiquitous life of the locals will certainly impress you.

In the old part of the village, you will find the little bit tucked away Church of Agios Taxarchas with a highly visible bell tower, with its entrance shadowed by tall cypresses. In the middle of the main square, there is a charming fountain built during the Italian era.

The village if Lardos is situated about 2 km from the Lardos Beach and 3 km from the beach of Glystra.
