The history of Santorini is really varied, and so, the island can´t miss an archaeologial museum which can be found in the capital of Fira. The lovers of history can see there statues, ceramics, coins and other precious items from different eras including prehistoric times but also the Roman and Hellenistic era with finds from Mesa Vouno and other regions. The museum is open daily except national holidays and it can be accessed for a fee (it has a discount for children and students). On some days there is a free entrance as well.
