MATI, a significant art gallery, is located near the orthodox cathedral at the top of the Caldera cliff in the island capital of Fira. Its exhibition consists of artworks by remarkable artists who drew inspiration mainly from the local nature, sea, man, and life in general. Some of the exhibits are truly bizarre, which is why they are tempting and stimulating human senses. During the high season, i.e. from mid-March till mid-November, the gallery is open daily.
