The aim of the Museum of Cultural Heritage, as its name suggests, is to preserve the specific traditional culture on Skopelos. And since the island is quite small, the museum could be founded thanks to the locals who contributed themselves to the exhibition with manuscripts, objects of the sailors and personal belongings, photographs, artworks, and more, participating voluntarily on preserving the legacy of their own past. Despite being very recent, the collection is a valuable repository of knowledge. The Museum can be found in the town of Glossa and it has a free entrance.
