The local Foklore Museum is located in the Skopelos capital in a three-storey building with an exhibition on the life and culture of the island inhabitants during the 19th and 20th century. The visitors can know how farming works and some parts of the then dwellings looked like, and how people lived and ran their households or spent their free time. You can admire their dexterity and the results of their work, including embroidery, decorated objects, ceramics and different tools. There are lectures and photographic exhibitions held regularly.
