The seaside village of Alyki lies on the east coast of the island near the resort of Skala Potamias. It is surrounded by two picturesque bays and a pine grove. Apart from the very nice and frequently visited beach, you will also find there the ruins of an old port and an ancient temple. In the past, marble was extracted in the village, today the ancient quarry belongs to the local historical sites. After some sightseeing, you can refresh yourself in some of the tavernas with a view of the sea.
