The Museum of Grigorios Xenopoulos bears the legacy of this famous Greek weiter, poet, playwright and journalist. He didn´t come from the island but he dwelled there for many years as the roots of his family took him to this very place. He became famous with his creation for children and for being engaged in theatre. The edifice of the museum being at the same time the house of the artist´s family can be found in the Zakynthos capital near the famous Church of Saint Dionysus. Inside you can see manuscripts, books, photographs and more artifacts related to this significant figure of Greek history.
