Almost in the northernmost tip of the island close to the village of Volimes, you will find the unique Blue Caves. Here the curious visitor and every lover of the wonders of nature will be faced with a magnificent scenery of cave vaults formed by the erosion of the rock massif during several thousands of years. The colours and the play of the shades and lights penetrating there from the exterior are especially impressive. With the right amount of light, the cave has an incredibly turquoise sparkling water. Obviously the caves are especially tempting for the divers, and there is no wonder, since there is a totally different unexplored world under the water surface. The beams of light penetrate through the water to the dark space, revealing uneven rocks and the seabed. You should rellay forget to bring your camera, whether you will be diving or not.

The caves cannot be accessed on dry land, so you need to go there by boat.
