The main beach in Dassia is oriented towards Greek and Albanian coast and it is located away from busy roads. It is quite long and plain, formed by pebbles and a nit coarse sand, with a gentle slope into the sea. The water is usually calm and it has been awarded the EU Blue Flag for its cleanliness. Obviously you will find there umbrellas and deckchairs. Besides idling on the beach, those of a more adventurous nature can experience some excitement practicing some of water sports, including diving, water skiing and windsurfing but also driving a motorboat or a riding a banana. The most lively part is the centre of the beach, while the side parts are designed for water sports.

The beach can be found in the resort of Dassia on the green east coast of Corfu. Dassia is one of the bigger resorts on the island and it offers a wide range of services including restaurant services, sports and entertainement. It is located about 12 km from the capital. Most of the resort is lying on a flat surface and some of its parts are even paved, so it can be also accessed by the disabled.
