Lefkimi Resort

If some travel agency offers a tour including a hotel and a beach in Lefkimi, it is really weird, since Lefkimi is located in the island interior and the hotel may only have there its postal address. Most probably, the place called Lefkimi by some travel agencies will be the beach and the resort of Agios Petros located nearby.

Lefkimi town

The Lefikimi town and resort is the second largest town on Corfu. It is located 40 km south of the capital of Kerkyra, being the main administrative centre of the southern part of the island.

Lefkimi is famous mainly for the two of its beautiful monasteries, the Monastery of St. Theodore and the Monastery of St. Arsenios, and it has an amazing fertile valley producing top quality grapevine. Therefore the place is also famous for its production of very tasty wine.

Lefkimi is located in the interior about 3 km from the coast, and therefore it has no beach.
