Agios Petros Resort

The Agios Petros resort, located about 50 km from the capital, is located on the southernmost tip of Corfu, near the famous resort of Kavos. It emerged in the 1990s in the vicinity of the busy resort as a much calmer place. Therefore, those who are searching for more peace, like families with children or elderly couples, for example, but also young couples longing for a rest, will find there everything they need for their dream holiday. And if you think that after all Agios Petros is a bit boring, you can always visit the nearby town of Kavos and enjoy some fun. If you feel like going on a trip, there is nothing easier but going e.g. for a romantic boat ride to the nearby islands of Paxos and Antipaxos.

Agios Petros beach

The whole resort stretches past the local beach with goldish sand. It is surrounded by green olive groves forming a colour contrast with the turquoise sea water surface. Unlike the beaches in Kavos, the water in Agios Petros is much calmer. It is protected from the wind by sand dunes and surrounded by a stretch of rocks and the hills of the opposite coast of both Greece and Albania. The water there is shallow, and so, it is suitable also for children and less experienced swimmers. In the place you will also find public swimming pools and you can try some of the many water sports there. In the beach surroundings, there are several bars and tavernas with drinks and refreshment.
