Arillas Resort
Arillas is located on the north-west coast of Corfu, and despite being a well-developed tourist resort with a wide choice of water sports, supermarkets, bakeries, souvenir shops, discos, bars and casinos, it can be enjoyed by all kinds of tourists.
The resort is surrounded by green vegetation, olive groves and cypresses, and there are plenty of blooming and sweet-smelling bushes everywhere.
What to do in Arillas
If you like bustling nighlife, then you will really enjoy the place. Yet so you will do if you prefer peace and romanticism. Besides calm places and the beautiful beach, those of a romantic nature can go for a walk to the surroundings, with the paths passing through green vegetation taking them to the nearby villages where a bit of the original atmosphere and traditional lifestyle have been preserved. You can make for example a nice walking trip to the village of Afiona with beautiful views on the sea, or walk to Agios Georgios or Agios Stefanos.
In the Arillas resort, you will find traditional Greek tavernas but also bicycle, motorbike and car rental services, and rental services of sports equipment.
Both ends of the beach in Arillas are unoficially nudist. Besides the main beach, you can also find there small private beaches.
Arrilas and families with children
The fact that the resort is suitable for a family holiday with children is enhanced by the beach which is long, sandy, and has a gentle entry into the water. It has crystal clear water, and so, it has been awared the EU Blue Flag for water cleanliness. The beach in Arillas is sought after not only by tourists for bathing, but also by divers for its rich undersea life. In case the one kilometre long beach in Arillas is not enough for you, you can go to the north to the resort and beach of Agios Stefanos (about 500 m far away crossing a small promontory in the sea), or to the south to the resort of Agios Georgios (located about 2 km far away).

Jak se tam dostanu
From the island capital of Kerkyra, you will pass through Dassia in the northern direction to Sidari, and from there to the west to the village of Agios Stefanos with its beautiful beach. The route is about 90 km long but you will pass through an interesting landscape and tourist resorts that you can visit on your way, too. Another, shorter option is to go in the western direction from Kerkyra to Paleokastritsa, and from there continue along the coast to the north. You will be passing through the island interior and you can stop in the remote villages that are also worth visiting.
