Psalidi
Psalidi Resort
The modern resort of Psalidi is located very close to the island capital of Kos, thus forming a kind of small adorable suburb. It is a peaceful recreational resort offering relaxation where you can idle on the beach but also set off to the lively island metropolis located only a few kilometres away. There are more than enough accommodation capacity, mainly hotels you only need to choose from if you like luxury, but also more economical options. You can stay both in private rooms and in pensions. The choice of catering is also varied: many tavernas and restaurants have almost everything on their menu, including fish and seafood specialities but also international cuisine. Many of them are located near the beach to be close to the holidaymakers. You will also find there little shops with basic articles and souvenirs. Everything else can be found in the capital.
Psalidi beach
The beach in Psalidi consists of a wide stretch of sand and especially the pebbles, sloping very gently into the depths of the sea. Therefore the place is suitable both for small children and less experienced swimmers but water shoes are recommended. Despite that, the resort doesn´t belong to the most popular ones among families. Maybe because there is little sand and also the access path to the water is sharp, and so not so comfortable. With the proximity of the capital town with plenty of entertainment, discos and bars, the resort is popular mainly among young couples, individuals and groups. Sportsmen will be delighted by a relatively wide offer of water and dryland activities. Obviously you will also find there all the tourist services necessary, assuring the complete comfort of the visitors. If you get wery of the beaches, you can visit the nearby water park with plenty of attractions.
