Tsoukalades Resort

Despite not being located in the close proximity of seacoast, Tsoukalades is becoming an increasingly popular holiday destination. It is a small traditional village on the north-west of the island, not really afected by tourism, and surrounded by hills covered with olive groves and beautifully clean and blue sea. There are still more and more accommodation facilities - at present, you will find there a few quality hotels. What is more, the island capital with a much more varied offer of services can be found only a few kilometres far away. If you opt for Tsoukalades, it is recomendable to rent a car that will take you comfortably to all the rather remote places.

What to do in Tsoukalades?

Near the village, you will find four nice beaches, all of them several kilometres long: Pefkoulia, Agios Nikitas, Kaminia and Skala. Pefkoulia is a beautiful beach surrounded by pine trees and covered with sand and pebbles. You can park there comfortably and refresh in the local taverna. Agios Nikitas is a very long beach with a sandy surface of a goldish colour. The water there is perfectly crystal clear and shallow. Kaminia and Skala are natural coast stretches of white snad and rock formations providing nice background.

In the charming streets of Tsoukalades formed by adorable little island houses, you will find only a few tavernas, cafés and bars to satisfy your sweet tooth.
