Psarou Resort

About only 5 km from the island capital, there stretches a small and nice resort called Psarou where you can get by a local bus. If you are searching for calm and peace, idling on the beach under the warm sunshine, practicing some sports activities and going for walks along the coast, then Psarou will be the right choice.

Psarou beach

The local beach is a bit narrow indeed but quite long and covered with nice and fine sand. Which is probably why during the high season, it is full of holiday makers and becomes quite busy. It is not exceptional to see there some celebrity as they have become fond of the resort. The water there is perfectly clean, and so, it is ideal for practicing water sports, especially driving amotorboat, diving (including a visit of sunken shipwrecks or undersea caves for the experienced ones), and windsurfing.

What to do in Psarou?

In the proximity of the beach, you will find accommodation facilities just like bars and tavernas. There is simply everything literally within your arm´s reach.
