With the hours spent on a deckchair under the hot Greek sun, you will get a nice bronze suntan, while the clean sea water will refresh your body. A bit of swimming or practicing water sports will do you good, too.

In the streets in the centre, you will find several shops for your little holiday purchases, and tavernas and restaurants for a nice sit-down over a glass of good wine or some Greek seafood speciality. Given the number of tourists, the village has become somewhat international, and so, the choice of refreshment is completed also by fastfood restaurants.

The whole region of the Olympic Riviera is suitable for hiking and trips by all means of transport. You can visit e.g. the nearby resort of Platamonas which you can reach comfortably by walking. It is especially tempting for young people as after the sunset, this resort becomes lively with night merrymaking. Yet during the day, there are also things to see, like the old Venetian castle or some of the picturesque secluded places. Another village worth visiting is Palios, the old Panteleimon with its charming houses flooded by exuberant green vegetation. Besides that, you can set off to the mountainous area of the Mount Olympus or visit the magnetic mountain which seemingly refutes all the physical laws on the earth.
