Monastery Agias Zoni

The Monastery of Agia Zoni is dated to the 17th century and according to a recent research, material from the original settlement was used for its construction. The white monastery with a bell tower can be found in a green valley near the village of Vlamari. It has a wooden iconostas carved by the monk Gabriel in 1801 who was the local abbot of that time. The monastery also has a small library with fice old manuscripts of the patriarch.
