Glyfoneri Resort

The rather small seaside recreational resort of Glyfoneri is waiting for its visitors in the charming St. Constanin Bay on the north-east cost of the ever green island. The picturesque town is located on a quite steep slope with a beautiful view on the bay and the surroundings. 

Glyfoneri beach

Glyfoneri has its own little beach of the same name formed by sand and little grey stones and pebbles, with the clean water of the Aegean Sea and the hills covered with splendid green vegetation rising from the coast. If you climb on some of the hillocks, the whole bay will open up in front of you, so you can savour the peace and endless relaxation. After all-day bathing and idling on the beach, visit some of the tavernas to eat tasty traditional food (especially seafood). You can even buy fish and seafood directly from the fishermen at the local market.

With the proximity of the capital, you can leave the Glyfoneri paradise for a while to visit a more ´civilized´ place, e.g. to go shopping, enjoy some more hilarious entertainment, and explore the mysteries of the local history, or visit some cultural event.
