The longest and probably the most sought.after beach of tthe island is the Golden Beach, also known under the name of Chrissi Amoudia. The beach is surrounded by rich vegetation and covered with fine sand; the sea there is very clean and shallow. Its surroundings is literally dotted with tavernas, bars, hotels, and rental services offering a variety of water sports. You will obviously find there umbrellas with deckchairs and showers.
