Beaches in Lambi and surroundings
The more than one kilometre long sand and pebble beach in Lambi is fringed by sky-blue sea and offers many possibilities of practicing the popular water sports like water skiing, for example, but also the ususal holiday idling and relaxation. For more comfort, you will find there umbrellas and deckchairs. Under the hot Greek sun, you can refresh yourself in the ubiquitous restaurants and snack bars tempting to taste exotic coctails and local speacialities. Another several kilometres long natural beach which is just as beautiful as the first one can be found also in the nearby town of Kos. There is a cycling track all over its length, quite atypical for Greece, which is what makes it exceptional and popular among the tourists. With its sandy seabed, the beach is not suitable for snorkelling as you could see there only little from the undersea life.
