The town of Lambi, the calm suburb of the island capital Kos is located in the north of the island. Under the hot Greek sun, you can refresh yourself in the ubiquitous restaurants and snack bars tempting to taste exotic coctails and local speacialities. Another several kilometres long natural beach which is just as beautiful as the first one can be found also in the nearby town of Kos. There is a cycling track all over its length, quite atypical for Greece, which is what makes it exceptional and popular among the tourists. With its sandy seabed, the beach is not suitable for snorkelling as you could see there only little from the undersea life.
