Skala Panagia - Chrissi Ammoudia

Skala Panagia is a young town created exclusively for the tourists´ needs who search for this location for its beautiful beach and a splendid panoramic view, further enhanced by the high mountains surrounding the place. Although the resort has only been created recently, it develops incredibly fast. New acommodation facilities spring up like mushrooms and the offer of services there is really wide.

Skala Panagia is literally dotted with tavernas, restaurants, bars and shops. You will also find there taxis, and car and motorboat rental services. There is a regular bus from the capital (located only 14 km far away) arriving regularly to the town.

The beach

One of the most beautiful beaches on Thassos can be found on this very place. The sand, more than 2 km long Golden Beach with sky-blue sea attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world every year.
