Kapi
Kapi Resort
The village of Kapi with a rich history is located in the north part of the island a bit further from the coast than other resorts. Nonetheless, this is the reason why it develops only slowly and is not so affected by tourism, preserving its longtime traditions.
What to do in Kapi?
In the village filled with green vegetation, with typical island architecture and mountains in the beackground, you will find a few gastronomic facilities that will serve you almost home-made cuisine. In the local shops, you will only find basic foodstuffs and articles. The village landmark that can be seen from the distance is an old factory and a tall chimney. Besides that, there is also a nice church, but otherwise the resort is suitable rather for undemanding visitors searching for peace and relaxation.
Kapi beaches
You can get to the nearest beaches walking or (better) in a rented car, as they are located a few kilometres away. They include the beaches of Palios, Skala Sikamnias, Geni Limani, Tsonia, Astropotamos and Molivos. In the last one you will find all kinds of modern services.
